About me
I am new to this whole website gig. I thought “blogs” were dumb. But here I am. I want to make a website. This will be a good way for me to get my feet wet. For example, I just filled this “about” section out on a part of this website that didn’t even save… *sigh* ho boy, this might be a long journey!
So, what do I even intend on using this for… well, what do I love… my husband. my kids. pets fall in there too. my family — both sides of it, and all the extremities. I love food. and cooking. my friends. music – its mood changing.
I’m an artist — well, I used to be. I’m an out-of-practice artist. Its still in there, I just have to call on it. Gimme a pack of watercolors, Prang will even do! It’ll come back, artist is in my blood.
I’m a photographer. Just ask my kids — I wait for the next adventure or the burst of laughter and I’m right there. Camera in hand. Snaggin that laughter on film – no… on memory card. That just doesn’t have the same ring to it! I get the perfect shot when I can see their eyes giggling.
I’m a chef. My hubby and kids get to be my guinea pigs, trying out new recipes and helping me perfect our favorites. One day I’ll have a cook book. And one day after that, I’ll have a cafe. Just a little nook, serving up food that tastes like gramma made it.
Oh, I do have a job. It doesn’t define me. So, its not worth mentioning!

If you have any easy recipes for those of us who are not good cooks please pass them along. My kids are getting tired of the same meals.
Yes! I will. I’m trying to figure out how to make more of my pages “post-able”. Once I get that down, there’ll be a Recipes one! Thanks for stopping by!

You’re photos are awesome, Linz…I’m thinking about showing them to my yearbook students to reinforce the idea that snapshots with everyone cheesing at the camera don’t make art:-) Maybe I can bring you in as a guest lecturer.

Keep working on your art! I want to do a feature on all of the artists/talent I know on my own blog. You should check it out if you get the chance.
I am in the final stages of writing a book, and it has taken me 3 years. I have MADE being a writer a priority. You should just totally keep hammering away at your photography!
