I don’t mean to brag, but its true. Look at these!

I made shredded beef and potato gorditas. They were crispy and soft and salty and savory.

To add to it we had a side of fruit salsa and cinnamon chips.

Uuuuhhhhhh….. I’m so full!

You want some too, huh! Lucky you, I’ve provided the recipes. You’re welcome.

I’ll try not to be such a stranger. The crazy holidays are finally over so I can concentrate on real life again. Like laundry. And cleaning out my over stuffed kitchen cabinets and pantry. Oh, that sounds terrible. Lets try that again! Ok, (straightening posture…) I can concentrate on fun things now that the holidays are over! Things like knitting, reading, drawing, and blogging! Whew, there. That’s a better list!

Sunset Walk on the Beach

A couple weeks ago a friend and I took a photo walk. We went to the lake and found a cool beach with drift wood and rocks and we were there long enough to watch the sun set. Here are a few of the photos I took, it was a lot of fun. We want to go on another outing with the pure intentions of shooting scenery. We hope to find an abandoned barn next time!

This weekend I’m going to do a family portrait sitting of some friends and their little boy. I think the area is going to make a nice backdrop for pictures…
