day: [55] of 365

So our middle son has the prettiest eyes. And they change, somedays they are more hazel and other days they are more brown. But he is the only one who doesn’t share our solid brown eyes.

My grandma used to say I had “snappy Jackson eyes” ~ the Jackson is my mom’s maiden name and this was my dad’s mom saying it. Anyway, I always like the “snappy” part!

I blurred and faded his face so his eye would stand out more, but I didn’t touch the detail in it. I love when the sun shines through the side because I can see all the flecks of color so clearly. And I tell him all the time how nice his eyes are — who doesn’t like flattery?!

  1. At the studio, we sometimes add facets like that to people’s eyes to enhance them. People like your son obviously don’t need any help though!
